Fried kway tiao $3 - I love fried kway tiao but it is really hard to find one that is tasty and not oily. Tried the kway tiao here as I was craving for some CKT. Portion was quite filling and affordable at only $3. There was the wok taste from the frying and it was rather fragrant and aromatic. A pity it was quite oily It was quite delicious though and it consisted of the usual ingredients + lup cheong (sausage). Perhaps if you want to try this, you can try to request for less oil.

Price $3The fried kway tiao here is rather fragrant as it has the wok fragrance after being fried in it. The taste still maintains after the last time I had tried it. It was quite oily though which may deter those who are health-conscious - definitely not a healthier choice or something that is good for the body but eating this once in a while is quite shiok! The ingredients in it are the typical char kway tiao ingredients such as hum, chinese sausage, beansprouts and more.

I was working late on that day and here for a late dinner. This was one of the stalls still opened then so i took away a packet of fried kway teow to have it at home. The kway teow and mee were nicely fried with a distinct wok taste to give it the smoky flavor. It was fried simply with the basic seasoning and ingredients like chinese sausage, egg, cockles and bean sprouts. The portion was quite generous for only $3. It might not be the best that i eaten but the standard is quite acceptable.
