Full review: http://nkikichua.blogspot.sg/2016/02/xin-hao-ramen-bugis-cube-singapore.htmlXin Hao Ramen fortes lies in combing Japanese flavours with modern ingredients and offering them at affordable prices in a rustic setting. Even their ordering system is pretty straight forward with the self-service paperless innovation. Having the menu placed right at the entrance of the shop, choose your choice of ramen and proceed to the cashier with the wooden tags.Besides the Salted, Miso, Spicy and Shoyu Ramen being the mainstays, I would prefer the Shoyu ramen more than the others. A downside is that the soup lacks the consistency as each bowl of ramen is made on the spot using the same base; tonkotsu soup, hence it may get a little too salty. However, I'm very pleased with the new item, Grilled Meat Don or Tempura Ebi Don. It's a bowl of Japanese rice topped with grilled meat or tempura ebi, runny egg and drizzled with spiced soya sauce. It also comes with deep fried enoki mushroom and Tonkotsu soup. 繼續閱讀

For more food reviews: http://hazeldiary.comI decided to try Xin Hao Ramen which located at Bugis Cube for lunch with colleagues. It is located just opposite Bugis Junction mall and next to Liang Seah Street which is easily noticeable. Oh well.. It’s my first time stepping into Bugis Cube mall. Believe it or not!Since it’s lunch time with limited time, we headed to level 3 for the ramen lunch. The menu was just outside the restaurant with the tags on respective description. It’s is quite unique as compared with other ramen stall. All prices and descriptions are stated on the wood board on the wall. So, once you decide your choice, take the tag and proceed to the counter to make payment. They only accept cash at this moment.I had Salted Ramen S$10.50 which is tonkotsu ramen seasoned with sea salt and grilled meat, hanjuku egg and deep fried enoki mushroom. It was nicely presented with a big bowl with the katsuobushi ( dried bonito flakes) as toppings. I personally find that the broth is clear and not too heavy taste. The grilled meat tasted like Chinese style grilled meat rather than Japanese version. Thus, do not expect to taste Japanese ramen here. It’s fusion style with Chinese taste twist in it. 繼續閱讀
