I was rather impressed at the shop's marketing strategy. Same noodle, different sauce, 3 dishes. Hey!!!!! Isn't that like so awesome, like not much extra energy and you give extra variety which people appreciate! I ordered tomato ketchup wontan mee, and I really enjoyed it. The last time I ate a tomato based one was when I was younger. So I really missed it without realising what I was missing. The taste of the charsiew was average, this charsiew was thin, I prefer the ones with some thickness and glaze. The noodle was good, soft enough and Q enough! I enjoyed the wontan， the flavour of the meat was not overpowering and the skin Crumbles in my mouth. This is the best wantun noodle i found in Singapore, at Kovan Mrt Heartland Mall outside the food court. Most of the stall is open in the morning, and this stall always is long queue, around 3-5pm they wantun noodle is sold out. Love for Ketchup. And now you able to find Wanton Mee with Ketchup.At Heartland at kovan for my early lunch. Saw the Q at this stall. Very long. As expected, the stall that sell their wanton mee is great.Known the stall lady. Always greet me when I there in the Q.They have 3 type of wanton mee. 1. Spicy.2. After the renovation, all the food stalls were relocated to the same level and Yi Shi Jia Wanton Mee still retains the same unit number.Yi Shi Jia Wanton Mee offers 4 versions of Wanton Mee catering to the different taste buds. You will be surprised on how good and delicious the char siew meat in this noodles. The char siew meat is roasted till very fragrant and juicy, which is also not too oily and the meat is really juicy. The wanton is also quite chewy and full of juicy minced pork meat in it. The noodles is also quite impressive too which is really chewy and QQ in texture. The dark sauce used in tossing the noodles is very fragrant and really blend in well in this dish. i am kind of an avid fan of wanton mee. Whenever I go to a food centre, I will hunt for some delicious wanton mee. This time I went to kovan food centre with my girlfriend. As usual I went to hunt for wanton mee. I located this stall and went to order my noodles. It was good, I did not have to wait long for the food to be served. the noodles were QQ and springy. Yi Shi Wanton Mee is my favourite Wanton Mee stall! They are able to cook the noodles such that it is not too soft, but retains the chewy nature of the noodles. Had lunch at Kovan Market Hawker place..i miss the traditional wantoon mee with chili and ketchup with nice cha shu and wanton =)price wise its cheap and good...however, i wasn't sure if it was due to me asking for more ketchup and chili sauce..the uncle put too much ketchup.. caused it to taste alittle sweeter than usual..i would recommend more chili than ketchup…查看更多
