The service was rather hospitable, probably servers used to the regulars residing around the lovely vicinity. And of course best of all, it was not a dimsum buffet and there were not much fried items on the menu. Yum Cha is one of the many famous dim sum places in Singapore. But I felt that the standard dropped in the recent years. The har gao (prawn dumpling)'s skin fell apart though the filling was nice. Really enjoy having my meals in this Chinese restaurant as the surrounding here are very greeny and beautiful. THe restaurant inside is quite spacious and the seats are also comfortable. Service is alright and polite. My favourite dish here is their spinach tofu. THe texture of it is very smooth and soft, which is full of the light fragrant from the spinach used in it. The sauce used in it is sweet and not too oily. Great to have it with the plain rice.

The seafood fried beehoon here is super delicious! The thin rice noodles is very chewy and full of the nice fragrant from the sauce and ingredients cooked in it. Large prawns are used in it which are very fresh and crunchy. The scrambled eggs also added that extra fragrant and make the bee hoon taste really good too! Portion is considerquite alright and the price is abit towards the high side.

Yum cha is a dim sum restaurant.There are lots of variety.Egg yolk bunI like this as it is soft when it serve to us.It also looks cute, small and round.The egg yolk is in "molten" state when i bite on it,really nice.Deep-fried Custard Roll ($2.80)It is not very nice because it is a bit cold when served. It is not very crispy and also not very tasty.I like the Stir-fried Glutinous Rice ($4.00)I like the chinese style sausage, it is salty and make the rice taste good, but it is very small bowl.

This is one my favourite cold dishes plate which I have ever tried during a wedding dinner. The dishes portion are quite generous and the diffferent individual items have their delicious taste as well. My personal favourite will be their smooth and chewy jelly fish which is very refreshing in taste and the spicy sauce used to marinate it make it evey taste more yummy and appetitzing as well. The stir fried scramble egg may look very simple but is equally delicious and not too salty as well.

Last Saturday my gf and I met up with with Maureen, Charlene and their partners for dinner at Yum Cha Garden Restaurant. I never knew that there is another Yum Cha restaurant at Serangoon Garden Country Club beside the Chinatown branch. This mini siew mai from Yum Cha is definitely a must try for you if you happen to visit this restaurant here. Served to your table reallly pipping hot only upon your order and all individual piece are well done by the chefs there. Every piece is filled with generous amount of juicy sliced pork meat which are very tender too. The wantan skin used in this dim sum is also smooth and not too hard. Simply delicious!

The dishes were nice taste better then Chinatown branch. Most prob it is not buffet style. I like the "liu sa bao" which has salted egg and custard inside, when bite the salted egg and custard liquid will flow, tasty.The paper wrap chicken is nice, a bit oily but not so salty.Red bean with banana seems to be very popular among all of us. I like this xiao long bao.It is very juicy.Although it is not nice as from the ding tai feng one,i still like it.The preserved egg and meat porridge is nice.It is very smooth and i like the softness of it.Add some ginger on the top of the porridge is really a right choice.I dint eat this,because i don dare,but i keep listening that my dad say it is very tasty.The skin is very crispy and the meat is nice.It is tender but is a bit hard.It is a bit oily,but it taste really nice.This siew mai taste

The outlet at Serangoon Country Club serve Zhi Char Buffet on weekdays ONLY.For the price with the nice presentations of food and great environment I will say it is a steal!I really like the interior design, it makes you feel like you are the Highness!Some of the dishes that is worth highlighting:When the perking duck dish came, I questioned where is the duck sauce. Then we waited awhile but still the service staff didn't bring any sauce to our table. Thus, we conclude maybe Yum Cha perking duck

Their xiao long bao is delicious filled with meat and clear broth Their shark fin dumpling cost $4.90 if not wrong & i totally can't taste any shark fin at all their dim sum around $3.80 above quite expensive & does not taste nice won't go back again

Besides their good tim sum,there's also birthday set menu for 4paxs to 10 paxs.4 paxs set menu at $248++ comes with steamed birthday buns,peking duck,double boiled ginseng chicken soup with sharks'fin,poached fillet of sea perch fish with nyona sauce,white pepper sri lankan crab,abalone mushroom with vegetable,braised ee-funoddles with golden mushroom and duck meat and chilled mango juice with pomelo and sago.A great meal for a small group of 4 paxs to celebrate an unforgettable birthday.
