First time eaten at Din Tai Feng was in Taipie very years ago. And, i am still a regular supporter after gotten back to Singapore.My favorite have always been the Zha Jiang Mian (炸酱面) and Xiao Long Bao (小龙包).The Xiao Long Bao arrived first. Six dumplings nicely lined and evenly spread out in the steamer basket. All of the identical dumplings were presented in the perfect form. My favorite have always been the Zha Jiang Mian (炸酱面) and Xiao Long Bao (小龙包).

The Xiao Long Bao arrived first. Six dumplings nicely lined and evenly spread out in the steamer basket. All of the identical dumplings were presented in the perfect form. I used the chopsticks to pick one up lightly, trying not to break the thin yet elastic skin. The juice oozed out immediately after my first bite and filled up my spoon. The recommended way to eat Xiao Long Bao is with the vinegar soy sauce and the shredded ginger.

The noodle of Zha Jiang Mian tasted heavenly after nicely mixed with the minced meat, tofu and the sauce. The flavor is great but the portion is a bit too little.

No matter, this is a nice place for great foods. Recommended.
