I got this cake in the last minute to celebrate a good friend's birthday. I've just flew in from oversea the day before and didn't have time to order prior the birthday thus left with limited choice to get a decent birthday at an affordable price. It was slightly after 8pm and i spotted this pretty cake in their display cabinet and i decided to buy it without a second thought. It tasted better than i expected. It was slightly after 8pm and i spotted this pretty cake in their display cabinet and i decided to buy it without a second thought.
It tasted better than i expected. The strawberries looked and tasted fresh. I do not have a sweet tooth so rather particular about the sweetness level and for this one, it has a well-balanced sweetness which matched my expectation perfectly, even the cherries embedded beneath the layers of sponge cake tasted nice too. The sponge cake was rather soft and fluffy. Most importantly, my good friend enjoyed it.
