It was TGIF and while searching for a decent place for japanese food, I chanced upon Sho Teppan which serves shabu shabu and teppanyaki set meals. I ordered a chicken with mushroom teppanyaki meal set with rice. The ingredients were served raw and pan-fried by the waiter. This would help to ensure that the food remain hot and sizzling before eating. The chicken slices were well marinated with the teppanyaki sauce and the vegetables like the carrot help to balance off the strong teppanyaki taste.
