I love astons for their affordable price and the ambience at changi is great! The staff are attentive to our needs and we waited awhile for our food.I ordered grilled fish served with creamy herbs sauce and choose mashed potato and onion rings for my sides. While my friend ordered grilled chicken chop with house salad and corn on the cob- so healthy! The grilled fish was fresh and the meat was soft. It goes really well with the creamy herbs sauce. The grilled fish was fresh and the meat was soft. It goes really well with the creamy herbs sauce. The portion is also just nice. The mashed potato was really good! But they gave such a big sccop of it that i feel gelate after awhile. But it was really good and i love the sauce too. Onion rings were not as great as i expect it to be much crispy instead of soggy.
My friend's chicken chop tasted great too and i just love the in-house salad! Crunchy veggies with specialty salad sauce. She said the corn on the cob is soft and flavourful. But it can get quite messy finishing the corn. haha!
Overall, i can say that astons never fails me with the excellent service and affordable, great food! Would love to go there to eat again for the ambience and great food.
