Initially I was at Tai Seng to visit a roasted meat store which is quite near to the old street Bak Kut Teh, however, it was closed on Monday so I had no choice but to try out this bak Kut Teh. Well, when I was browsing the menu, I realise that they are famous for their dried Bak Kut Teh, however it was spicy (I cannot take any spicy food), so I decided to give it a miss and ordered the orginal Bak Kut Teh. Well, when I was browsing the menu, I realise that they are famous for their dried Bak Kut Teh, however it was spicy (I cannot take any spicy food), so I decided to give it a miss and ordered the orginal Bak Kut Teh. The taste of the meat was ok, not the best I had tried, but also not the worst I had tried. Nevertheless, their soup was awesome, the pepper taste was strong enough and it seems that the soup was cooked for many hours before it can be so sweet (I can imagine there is a lot of nutrients “swimming” inside the soup)! However, I do not really like the environment, there is a lot of houseflies flying around.
