Today, I decide to get a cake to celebrate our Nation 47th Birthday Aug 9 2012. I go to one of our local oldest confectionery, Prima Deli to buy this nostalgic black Forest cake which is generously filled with sweet dark cherries laced with chocolate fresh cream sandwiched between layers of rich yet light chocolate sponge. After eating it, this beautiful sponge cake, is tastes very soft and have a good combination of the cherries and chocolate. It is delicious as before.
I personally find that it is a bit sweet to me; if the sweetness can be reduced it will be perfect.
The price is $39.80 per 1 kg.
