Another food-tasting session held at Blackbird Bistro + Bar thanks to Yummypin! Lunch: 11:30am - 3pm daily
Dinner: 6pm - 10:30pm daily
Brunch: 10am - 5pm daily
Happy Hour: 4pm - 8pm daily

Carrot and Tomato Soup - $7.90 (Small plate portion) / $11 (Regular portion)(Pureed carrots and pureed tomatoes soup, served with Toast)
Balsamic Tuna - $12(Seared tuna steak with mango salsa and balsamic glaze)
Blackbird's drumlets - $10 (FAVORITE)(Chef's fried spiced chicken drumlets with sweet chilli sauce)
Crispy Pork Belly - $10 (FAVORITE)(On pea puree, tempura onion rings and spicy miso sauce)
Marc's Kiwi Burger - $18 (FAVORITE)(Secret spiced beef patty with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and mayo on a sesame bun)
Miso Cod Fish - $32 (FAVORITE)(Baked cod fish with miso, served with parsnip puree, sauteed baby spinach and tempura courgette flower)
I was really trying to limit the number of "favorite" dishes I had, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. One of the main highlights of the tasting session was definitely the Miso cod fish, which literally melted in our mouths. Thumbs up to the crispy pork belly and Marc's kiwi burger too! I don't usually gush about cafes like that, nor did they pay me to write this post, but the food served were really impeccable.
I'm pretty sure I'll return for them again!
