How often are you able to find a nice restaurant at a neighbourhood community centre? This one's situated conveniently right next to Ang Mo Kio station, adopting a really lovely alfresco dining concept. My first visit there was on a Friday night for late night supper. My friend got the Plain Jane with Salted Caramel Sauce ($4.90) which was served warm with nice sauce but the waffle wasn't that great after awhile. I've gotten myself a Plain Jane with Chocolate Sauce ($4.90) and this was slightly better than what my friend had because it was crispier and the chocolate sauce was not too sweet.
After the waffles we decide to get ourselves some nice Margaritas. I've got the Green Apple Margarita ($9.90) but there wasn't much green apple taste in it as I've expected, tad disappointed but maybe it was just a wrong choice.
My friend, however, got an awesome Lychee Margarita ($9.90) and it's really nice with fresh lychee flavoring. Should have gotten this together with him.
This restaurant also offers a good extensive range of alcoholic menu which can be viewed on its website. The restaurant opens from 3pm - 12am from Monday to Thursday and 3pm - 1am from Friday to Sunday. I would return back again for their savoury food soon.
