This is a memorable dinning experience for me because we went there to a particular western food stall in the vicinity but that stall was closed. So we decided to have our lunch in this food centre. We were there at about 2.30 pm and this stall still has not completely sold out yet but they left only the roasted duck and char siew. This was our first time ordering from this particular stall though we came across a good number of rave reviews. I decided to go ahead to order a plate of char siew r
After tasted it, i have to agree with the earlier review given about this stall. A generous amount of flavourful sticky dark sauce was poured over the rice and the meat. The pieces of char siew were nicely charred but not burnt, it has gotten a nice sweetness at the right texture with its tenderness and juiciness still within. I guess we would there a little too late as our plate of char siew rice did not come with a bowl of soup.
It was definitely a good plate of char siew rice nonetheless.
