Occupied two shops next to each other, the business of Ah Chew Dessert was getting better. The queue was always there along the corridor, don’t be surprising. We joined the queue too while waiting to be seated.Menu was pasted “undertable”, we were discussing among ourselves once sat down. Serving time was quick, our food completely came not more than 5 minutes. Chinese Herbal Jelly, it looked dully black. Tasted a bit bitter yet very chilling and refreshing, I ate it along with honey. Chinese Herbal Jelly, it looked dully black. Tasted a bit bitter yet very chilling and refreshing, I ate it along with honey. Price at $3.80, it was not cheap. Another one, we had Grass Jelly with Eggy Soup. The mixture of sweetness from the broth and the jelly was perfect. It was only $1.60. Fancy about the shop, I actually visit it often.
