There are a lot of eateries at the newly opened Bugis+ (previously known as Iluma), and Galateria Italia is one of the popular one. The shop is small with not many seats available. The cabinet and sofa in the shop are very vintage style and attractive. For the gelato ice-cream, you can choose from the counter, and you are allowed to test the flavours before making up your mind. The staffs are mostly young people, very friendly. I tried the pineapple Piccolo ($4.90), served in the cup. Very light

The staffs are mostly young people, very friendly. I tried the pineapple Piccolo ($4.90), served in the cup. Very light flavour yet refreshing. It's definitely a great choice if you are thirsty and need some freshen up.

Also, I got the Special Durian cup ($9.90). It's served in a very nice looking 'cup' with the lid on. It tastes very original with some durian pulps, strong and rich. The only setback is .. for that price, I wish for a bigger portion!!
