Met up with one of my good friends for a coffee date! There have been much hype on this place for their coffee and we were glad to have found a direct bus there! The exterior looked like an old provision shop but once you stepped into the place, it just magically transform into a cool hipster coffee bar. Met up with one of my good friends for a coffee date! There have been much hype on this place for their coffee and we were glad to have found a direct bus there! The exterior looked like an old provision shop but once you stepped into the place, it just magically transform into a cool hipster coffee bar. We arrived at the cafe around 3pm and the place was packed to the brim! We had a hard time finding seats. We waited for awhile (10-15 mins) and finally got seats outside. The long queue at the counter looked very messy, probably because it was too crowded and the whole place was not spacious enough. I ordered a cup of Espresso with Milk for myself and a Cold Brew for my friend. The cold brew was served in a medicine glass bottle, interesting! However, the iced coffee tasted quite bland, even after adding the syrup etc. I love the coffee art on my cup of espresso! The froth was thick, with a slightly bitter taste and I like it that way.
Besides the coffee bar, there is also a private coffee tasting room (the annex), a coffee school and a roastery. I may come back here to try their food and coffee again, most probably on a weekday when it will be less crowded!
