Bought 2 vouchers from deal.com, which served what they called the Special Hokkaido Signature Set. It consisted of Century Egg with Homemade Tofu ($12), Sashimi 5 pcs ($20), Teppan Salmon ($18), Fukahire Chawanmushi (Steamed Custard Egg with Shark Fin) ($25), Yakitori Don ($22), Miso Soup ($4) and Fruits ($2). This set claims to cost $121. Overall, the meal was good and filling. Well I just expected the century egg tofu to be bigger. It was really a very small cube of tofu, sort of like 1 mouthf
Overall, the meal was good and filling. Well I just expected the century egg tofu to be bigger. It was really a very small cube of tofu, sort of like 1 mouthful so the size was rather unexpected, although its taste was wonderful. The rest of the things were above average. I did like the Yakitori Don too. The rest were alright and if it's the usual price, I might stay away from this place.
