I came to this outlet at Nex as I had two meal vouchers to redeem - a choice of chicken salad or aglio olio sphaghetti, plus a scoop of ice cream.Once I sat down (I was earlier than my hubby), the wait staff served me promptly and asked if I wanted iced or warm water without any prompting or indication from my part - good service The chicken salad came in a large bowl with a good mix of fresh vegetables. The chicken salad came in a large bowl with a good mix of fresh vegetables. I especially liked the pine nuts given. The chicken slices were rather tasty too. The salad fork they gave was very huge though, I find it too unwieldy. It's good that the thousand island sauce was given on the side so you can choose how much you want to put inside your salad. Definitely a healthy meal. You'll be pretty full too if you finish the whole bowl of salad.
- Chicken saladThe aglio olio looked simple but it tasted really good. The spaghetti was cooked till al dente and plenty of olive oil and garlic was used to sautee the noodles with the mushrooms. The flavoring was also done well. I enjoyed this simple but well-cooked dish.
- Aglio OlioThe sticky chewy chocolate was quite nice although it seemed to be a bit different based on what I tasted a long time ago. The chocolate seemed slightly more "artificial". Or perhaps my taste buds are now more stringent...LOL
I do not particularly like the color of the lime ice cream but taste-wise, it's still alright. It's quite tangy and refreshing.
