Megumi offers a good quality fresh sashimi that one should try. We had the Salmon sashimi ($10) the other day, and it is so nice. The thickness of the cut is just right. This is the first time I tried Dobin Mushi ($8.8), which is the seafood teapot soup. The soup is served in such a pretty teapot, and it has quite a bit seafood in it as well. Soft shell crab ($9.8) is very crispy. It doesn't taste too oily which is a big success. It is well-seasoned too.
We then had Kuro Goma Ice-cream ($5.8). I love the black sesame flavoured ice-cream, and topped with Japanese red beans, it's such a pleasure indulgence.
We also tried the Deep fried vanilla ice-cream ($4.8). It's a little disappointing though. The coating is slightly too thick and not as crispy as I would like it to be.
