The dim sum at this stall can be considered as above-average. A huge disappointing aspect would be its price (but it seems like it's more expensive at every stall in this foodcourt compared to other foodcourts). Nonetheless, for a quick dim sum fix, I ordered the following for dinner:Chee Cheong Fun w Char SiewHad wanted to order the one with prawns but it was sold out. This one is rather good, though I still prefer it with prawns. Lor Mai KaiIt looked unique, but it was really below average
Chee Cheong Fun w Char Siew
Had wanted to order the one with prawns but it was sold out. This one is rather good, though I still prefer it with prawns.
Lor Mai Kai
It looked unique, but it was really below average. The ones bought from the supermarket where you have to steam yourself would have topped this!
Siew Mai
The only interesting thing is they squeezed some orange-coloured bead-like stuff on it, like some exquisite decor. Taste was average.
Century Egg Porridge
This dish was good. The taste was rich. Only catch is the serving. They could serve in a larger bowl. It's only porridge, how expensive is this? Also, the staff almost forgot to put the cornflake-like topping on my porridge! Hmph!!
Char Siew Pau
Average. The meat is also too little.
Custard Pau (Liu Sha Pau)
This is good!!! Got to be careful in eating this pau. The sweet filling inside "flows"!!! Once again, can't the pau be bigger?! Is it me or are servings really small these days?!
Total Cost - $14+ (I'm not sure if this is expensive, considering that the food doesn't really leave me with a "wow" feeling or even full. Aftering consuming the above with my gf, I contemplated ordering Hokkien Mee....)
