This was my second time at tim ho wan. It serves affordable dim sum and the specialities are the BBq Pork Bun, steamed malay cake, vermicili roll with pig liver. As i went there early (around 6pm), there was not really any queue, hence i waited less than 5 minutes for a table for two I ordered the bbq pork bun for $4.50. The bun is really crispy and have a 'bolo' skin. I extremely love the crispy crust! The inside has the bbq pork filling which i find it quite sweet, but overall, its still the b

The bun is really crispy and have a 'bolo' skin. I extremely love the crispy crust! The inside has the bbq pork filling which i find it quite sweet, but overall, its still the best bbq pork bun! This is the vermicili roll with shrimp @ $5.50. This roll is smooth and soft with fresh prawns and some vegetables. Rice with beef and fried egg @ $6. The beef was quite disappointing as i couldnt really taste the beef meat. However, when eaten together with the rice, egg and beef, it tasted not bad. Steamed malay cake @ $3.80. This cake is really soft and fluffy with a slight sweetness in it. However, it was quite dry at the inside ccompared to the one i tried before at plaza sing :/
Overall, if you were to dine at Tim Ho Wan, be sure to order the BBq Pork buns and Steamed malay cake!
