Brought my Taiwanese friend around Singapore and treated her to a feast of Malaysian/singapore's most famous and traditional foods. At RWS Malaysian food street, one gets to sample a variety of local delights without the hassle of traveling all over the country! We spent a total of $80 for this meal for the following dishes:
1) Kampung nasi lemak (halal)
It was really good! We ordered the normal set, which was served with otah, and the chicken set, with chicken wings. The chilli was one of the best I've tasted and the fried chicken was fresh and super tender. The otah was good as well.
2) Klang bak kut teh
Boiled to perfection, each bowl of bak kut teh was brimming with rich herbal aroma and soft, chewy pork ribs that leaves one craving for more after just one taste of the soup.
3) Straits of Satay
Kind of average satay that can be found at most hawkers.
Overall, it was a hearty meal and definitely a place I will visit again, albeit the exorbitant prices.
