Saveur is a French restaurant in Singapore that is known for their affordability as well as their divine meals. As of January 2015, the Saveur group has already opened 4 restaurants and all of them are always packed with lots of people, including the Saveur branch at Far East Plaza.On the night that my family and I visited the restaurant, we had to wait for approximately 1 hour before we could grab a table. I think that pretty much explains how crowded it was.1. Salmon (X’mas & New Year Special)

1. Salmon (X’mas & New Year Special) (S$5.90++)
Loveable crisp and just enough saltiness.
2. Foie Gras (S$9.90++)
Fine dining defined. Perfect tenderness combined with a slightly fruity flavor.
3. Pasta (S$7.90++) (X’mas & New Year Special)
The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was packed with big flavor.
4. Duck Confit (S$12.90++)
The duck confit was crispy on the outside but tender in the middle. As it can be a bit salty, it is better to eat it with the mashed potato to tone down the saltiness.
5. Beef (S$24.90++)
Artistic presentation. I love the texture of the beef. For the seasoning, it was okay but it seems something was missing.

With that affordable price and entertaining dishes, you should try to visit this restaurant if you want some exciting French meals.
