My husband and I are very excited when it comes to Japanese food, we love their cooked sushi rolls and their ramens and their rice dishes, I think most Japanese food are amazing.So in our Journey to finding a place to eat, My husband and I decided to eat at Ajisen Ramen during our 5th year marriage anniversary! It is a pretty big deal for us!We came across Ajisen Ramen as we were strolling Plaza Singapura, and waiting for out movie showing. We had time to kill so we decided that our anniversary
So in our Journey to finding a place to eat, My husband and I decided to eat at Ajisen Ramen during our 5th year marriage anniversary! It is a pretty big deal for us!
We came across Ajisen Ramen as we were strolling Plaza Singapura, and waiting for out movie showing. We had time to kill so we decided that our anniversary dinner will be spent eating at a Japanese Restaurant. I think we had such high expectations when we sat down.
We ordered their Char Siew Ramen and a side order of their California Rolls, because I love them!
The food came in no time at all, the service was great, except the attending waitress and waiters kept shouting "Welcome to Ajisen Ramen" when anyone comes close enough to their entry way. Which made me feel like I was in a Fast Food joint.We tasted the Ramen and the California Rolls and we were not awed. It was just Ordinary, the taste of the california roll seemed lacking, as if something was missing. The Ramen was okay, but not something that I would crave for, in other terms, I've had better.
It is not bad, its just that they don't have the wow factor for me. I might go back to Ajisen Ramen some other day, but it is not a place that I would go out of my way for. It is a place I can recommend to my friends, if we are looking for a place to eat, and the restaurant is just there.
