At Five And Dime along the shophouses at River Valley,

Fish and chips –
Crispy battered fish fillets seems to be tougher than the usual dory from what I read on the menu it was “shark catfish”, but it still was juicy. Not much seasoning, you still would need to eat it with a dip such as tartare sauce.
“Handcut fries” were wedges-shaped, was crisp.

Seared Salmon –
It seems to be a little overcooked as the meat was dry. Coated with a savoury and creamy mozarella and parmesan cheese, the overall combination was more on the saltier side. Mashed Potatoes were a little lumpy , and there wasn’t any gravy. Salad was ok.

Mentaiko pasta –
The only nice dish out of these 3 , spaghetti was cooked al dente, generous with their cod fish roe, the mentaiko sauce was flavoursome.
