It's been a long while since we last ate at Ma Maison and as we were undecided on our lunch venue, we decided to revisit this quaint little restaurant to satisfy our Western-Japanese cravings.Tonteki Set ($19.80++)The Tonteki Set was delicious. The Tonteki Set was delicious. The soft tender cutlet blended well with the BBQ sauce and each bite releases a juicy burst of flavours.
Strawberry & Kiwi Tart ($4.80++)The dessert, however, as a disappointment. This was their promotional item for the day and we could see why. The tart was a little soggy and lacked the buttery fragrance we were expecting. It was also a tad too sweet from what we remember it to be. Hopefully this was only a slip and not a general dip in their dessert quality.
In all, a lovely place with great ambience to spend a lazy weekend afternoon catching up with friends...
