My mum is a great fan of the Geylang Prawn Noodle stall located at Hougang Ave 4.Both my mum and I ordered the '2 in 1' which was a combination of pork ribs and prawn noodles ($5). Had mine with yellow mee and beehoon! I found the soup to be flavourful and tasty. It doesn't taste strongly of MSG like some stalls do, but had a clear sweetness to it. Although the soup could be richer in taste, i'm quite content with it!The Prawns are nice and fresh, although i only got 2 prawns that were split in

The Prawns are nice and fresh, although i only got 2 prawns that were split into half. It isn't crazy large but at least the meat was fresh.
The pork ribs are the ones i really liked, as it was tender and rich in flavour!
Dad ordered the dry, pork rib noodles and he liked it.
Apart from just pork rib and prawn noodles, the stall also had 'wu xiang' that you can order as a side dish. I loved their wu xiang alot! We ordered cuttlefish (the orange thing), yam roll thingy, fried prawn cracker and fishball.
My favourite was the fried prawn cracker as it was crispy and fresh, although it was abit oily. I soaked mine in the prawn soup to take out some oil + boost the flavor!
The cuttlefish was fresh and springy, but the yam roll thingy was awlfully hard!
Spend about $5 for a bowl of noodles.
