Been driving past for a couple of weeks and finally had the time and the chance to go check out Babette. The food was amazingly delicious. I had the "steak and foie gras donburi" and it was absolutely amazing. Steak was perfectly prepared, rice was soft and fluffy, and the foie gras was creamy and melt-in-your-mouth. Portion is also filling enough for $28 so quite worth the money considering that there's foiegras.
I also had the Grilled Octopus Salad. Best octopus I've tasted in a very long time. Tender, tsaty, and not overly seasoned. Wish there could have been a bit more octopus though.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable dining experience at Babette and I will definitely be back for more good food and drinks.
