My family and I celebrated Mothers' Day right here, and ordered their special set dinner for 8 people, as recommended by the staff. The set dinner came with a few items such as the Assam fish head, Bakwan soup, Chicken ayam, Chilli kangkong, babi ponteh, crayfish and a dessert.I especially liked the assam fish head curry, chilli kangkong, babi ponteh and crayfish! I especially liked the assam fish head curry, chilli kangkong, babi ponteh and crayfish! All the dishes were very tasty and tasted like original peranakan food. The babi ponteh gravy was thick and well-seasoned and I found myself drizzling the sauce over my rice over and over again. The crayfish was succulent and tasty! Pity we had to limit ourselves to only one crayfish each. The bakwan soup had very light taste and some might even find it too bland. I feel that it was a refreshing change from the other largely gravy heavy dishes. The bamboo shoots and meat ball in the soup were nice too.
