i went to tian tian steamboat with a couple of friends the other day. We did not want our clothes to sink up so we opted for the steamboat only instead of the bbq and steamboat. We got to choose two soup bases. We pick tom yum and herbal chicken soup. I find the service of this shop rather poor as compared to the other steamboat restaurants at bugis. When we opted for steamboat, they made us wait very long as they go hunt around for a place to sit us down as all their tables were set up for the

When we opted for steamboat, they made us wait very long as they go hunt around for a place to sit us down as all their tables were set up for the grill one. And a lot of staffs keep approaching us, but when we tell them we wanted steamboat, they ask us to wait and then disappear. How rude!After some time the lady boss came back to the restaurant and ask us again the same question. We told her we have been waiting for a long time to be seated, so immediately got us to sit down at the nearest table and told her staff to prepare the soup for us. At least she treasures her customers.
Food wise, the variety was ok, there were clam, crabs, prawns and even scallop. But the scallop ran out pretty fast, luckily I managed to grab some for us. The slice beef was really good, very finely sliced. I had to snap a picture of it to show how finely sliced it is. The soups were so tasty. well for good food, I guess you have to accept such poor service.
