Nando's is a casual dining chain from South Africa. But I first tasted the peri-peri chicken and its condiments at KL and it struck a chord with me at then! Petisco - $23.90
A platter of four chicken wings, mini chicken thighs, olives, novo pita, Perinaise and your choice of a Grilled Vegetables Dip or Peri Hummus.We were a bit disappointed with this - the chicken wings were over cooked and tasted dried. The mini chicken thighs were tender with a smoky taste that we liked though
Angry Mango Burger - $15.90 (with 2 side dishes)
I had the chicken with hot peri peri but not that spicy as I thought, added some extra hot sauce on my own later ;p Chicken was tender but would be even better if the meat could be thicker ;p Bread was just ok. Instead of mango bits, I only tasted mango syrup/sauce I had peri chips and grilled vegetable as side dishes which were good!
Beef Prego Roll - $14.90 (with 1 side dish)
Tender sirlion cut steak with burger ... the beef was very tender ... but alas it was toooooo thin ~ 1/2 Chicken with 2 side dishes - $22.90
Comments from my fellow diners that had this - was good On a sidenote, the designers' drinks @ Nando's were very disappointing - just soft drinks with some added stuff - nothing fantastic. Save some money and get some regular soft drinks instead.
Ooh, Nando's don't serve iced water too ...
