Recently, I met up with a friend for a late dinner at Bugis Junction and we didn’t know where to dine. Shokudo came into my mind as they do serve hearty light snacks and bites compared to many Japanese restaurants out there. This got to be my favourite of the night as I get to have the best of both worlds. It’s the Rosti with Japanese Curry with an additional egg. Rosti is a Swiss dish made out of pan fried shredded potatoes and having this with Japanese curry surely is a whole new experience.
Overall, the food was light and delicious and I totally enjoyed having dinner here. The manager of the restaurant serving me was very friendly she apologized for keeping us waiting for our ice water. She was very helpful too to help us arrange our food on the crowded table as there were many huge plates and dishes.
