Great tasting chicken rice

If you know where the Tip Top Curry Puff is in Ang Mo Kio Central, you will be able to find this chinese rice stall. They are located in the same coffee shop. It can be quite hard to find seating at this coffee shop, I had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes before I could find an empty table. On the bright side, you don't have to queue long for the chicken rice.  The portion wasn't alot but my friend and I decided to share. I asked for an extra bowl of soup and the staff gladly made an extra one for me. The Rice was very fragrant. I liked the rice with the sauce from the hainanese chicken. The soup was quite flavourful and you could tell that it was pure chicken essence in it and not MSG, as I didn't feel one bit thirsty from drinking the soup.

 Here is the star itself, the steamed chicken was very smooth and tasty, the roasted chicken tasted more salty and it was very tender. The achar (nonya spiced vegetable) was also quite tasty, I enjoyed the chunks of pineapples and cucumber. It wasn't very spicy and it added a sweetness level to the dish.

All in all, a cheap and good plate of chicken rice.
