First time trying this cafe by using the groupon deal

The deal was being spelt out clearly what it supposed to comprise of:

1) choice of soup of the day or salad

2) main course

3) pandan creme brûlée

4) ice lemon tea

So there I went with a groupon deal for 2 pax that worth the original value of $72.

Well, I would say we started off with good note by having delicious mushroom soup though it was abit too salty and a so-so salad that goes well with the soup and thinking to myself, I might make a special trip back for the mushroom soup, why not!

Main dishes were the half burger with mashed potate beef patties and chixlollipop.

Beef pattie was salty with grains of salt sighted. Overall, we could still accept the saltiness since our taste bud is towards that. chic lollipop is reasonably nice and tasty.

Hers's come to what I cannot forgive. They didn't fulfill what was supposed to be included in the groupon. We were shortchanged by the cafe staff who served us bread pudding instead of pandan creme brûlée. When asked why not pandan creme brulee, answer was its chef's choice so it's not my choice, what's more when it was explicitly stated in the groupon deal. This is simply not honest as the stated value would become less than $72. More over, there wasn't any specification that creme brûlée would be replaced by chef's selection. It's totally different from soup of the day where I can understand that the choice will lie on the cafe. Hence what started off well failed to match the end note..

So what can I say about this cafe - WORD. Simply she doesn't keep to her WORD!!!
