guanaja cake is the best

i was shopping around suntec city shopping mall with my mum when we passed by rive gauche. I remembered my sister saying that their cakes are really good so I decided to buy back a slice for us to share. After selecting for a while, I settled for their guanaja cake. My mother was not really a fan of cakes and she was put off by the price but I still went ahead and got us the cake. I have to admit my mum was right, a slice did cost quite a lot but it was NICE! My mother was not really a fan of cakes and she was put off by the price but I still went ahead and got us the cake. I have to admit my mum was right, a slice did cost quite a lot but it was NICE! The cake was super moist, it was very chocolaty as well. I love the base, it was very crunchy, I think they use some biscuit to make it. It tasted like those of a waffle biscuit. The chocolate they spread on top of the cake was very thick and sweet. It was two thumbs up, I guess it was worth the price. mum took a bite and she was converted to a fan of this cake too.
