It's kind of interesting to have the BreadTalk Group to house under one roof. Just nearby the entrance and where we are sitting, washing basin is provided at a convenient location for diners to have their hands cleaned before and after meals. Stalls queue were well segregated and by the barriers shown in the picture.
My visit to Food Republic was after 1.30pm where lunch crowd was no where to be seen, no queues and plenty of seats were available. Ambience was different with those majestic looking stalls featuring the old architecture of the olden days dynasty.After some rounds in Food Republic, we decided for Sergeant Hainanese Chicken Rice. Menu and utensils were well placed by the side of the stall reachable to their customers.
The presentation of the set is compact, we have Rice, egg, vegetables and chicken all placed neatly on the plate.
This dry looking blistered chicken may looks unattractive but in fact it tastes juicy, smells good and comes with a slice of tomato and crunchy cucumber slices tucked by the side of the plate.
Attractive greeny steam vegetables that goes well with meat and rice. Crunchy enough!
Braised egg were cut into quarters, served on the plate with exterior coated with strong aroma of herbs. Yummy!
