halal buffet

There isn't many halal buffet around and we are quick sick of going carousal everytime for our gathering (there are muslim friends in the group), so when 1 market open it's door at the new extension of Plaza Singapura, the whole lot of us decided to give it try. It was quite difficult to get a table (there's around 6 of us) so we waited quite a bit during dinner hour. Anyway, I have this habit of walking around the buffet spread before "tackling" the food, so after one round at the buffet spread

It was quite difficult to get a table (there's around 6 of us) so we waited quite a bit during dinner hour. Anyway, I have this habit of walking around the buffet spread before "tackling" the food, so after one round at the buffet spread, they seem to be appetizing... seem. After getting some food back to our table, I realized the food is not that good and it is either too salty, no taste or too oily. Even the sashimi tasted bad... but what how can a sashimi tasted bad when there's basically no cooking involved? I don't know about that. Sorry to say there's nothing there which I really like, so I guess I will not be going back again unless if I really need to.
