This is the very day that the chinese celebrated the Winter Solstice Festival by having glutinous rice balls (tang yuen). Like most of the families, we did not handmade these balls at home but choose to take away from this very stall to have it at home.I ordered a few bowls of peanuts filling glutinous rice balls with peanut soup to have it at home. This is the very day that the chinese celebrated the Winter Solstice Festival by having glutinous rice balls (tang yuen). Like most of the families, we did not handmade these balls at home but choose to take away from this very stall to have it at home.

I ordered a few bowls of peanuts filling glutinous rice balls with peanut soup to have it at home. For each bowl, there were a total of 5 balls. The skin was a nice thin layer with a generous amount of filling in each ball. The peanuts in the peanuts soup were soft in texture and the soup itself was just right in the sweetness level.

We enjoyed it.
