This restaurant is quite interesting. The place is quite simple and no frill looking. First the aunty find you a table, giving you a list to select what to order. After making selection, one has to make your own way to cashier to make payment for your order. The aunty is very friendly in helping me in taking order as she has thought of me as a tourist. Food is served very fast here. Fork and spoon are served wrapped together in tissue.Ayam Penyet + Nasi ($7.90)It is Smashed Fried Chicken served
It is Smashed Fried Chicken served with plain rice. The chicken is very crispy and tender with super spicy chilli sauce. Empal Penyet + Nasi ($8.00)
It is smashed beef steak served with plain rice. The meat tastes a bit dry, but still quite tender. Gado-Gado ($5.90)
This is Indonesian salad, which is actually boiled vegetables served with peanut sauce, topped with prawn crackers. This dish is well loved by everyone as it is not spicy and the sauce is very tasty. Soto Ayam ($7.00)
It is actually chicken bee hoon soup. The soup is very flavourful. Jus Alpukat ($4.50)
I end the meal with a glass of avocado juice which is very thick and not too sweet. Only wish it can be colder.
Overall the food is not bad. I will back again for the crispy chicken and the delicious avocado juice.
