While researching South Beach, came across this restaurant. Looked interesting so popped by for dinner. there were only 5 other customers (groups of 3 and 2). Despite ordering the omakase, there was not interaction at all. All dishes were served without any explanation or even small talk. Just plates and bowls handed over the counter. As to the food, the first dish of tofu with thick century egg yolk sauce topped with roe and century egg jelly was nice and full of taste as the sauce is rich and creamy which contrasted with the mild tofu. However the century egg yolk sauce wasa tad too salty for me. 2nd dish of salad with thin slices of dried and pressed either fish or squid and lady fingers and other green was refreshing. 3rd dish of 5 generous pieces of sashimi which included otoro, hotate and salmon. Nice and fresh. Then gindara but with too salty mayonaise. Followed by clam soup and  unagi don, plus a scoop of ice cream. Overall food was nice but I would not come back again as part of the dining experience especially sitting at the counter is the interaction with the chef but not here where the only words uttered to me the entire dinner was towards the end "there is still ice cream". Compared to Japanese sushi restaurants in Japan or Korea where the chefs had used Google Translate and Google Images to tell me what i am eating.....
