My friend's mum is here for a vacation, so last night, they invited me for dinner. Since they were in Novena, I suggested that we have dinner at Barcelo's. The last time I dined here was 2 years ago and I remembered how their chicken was tender, spicy. The last time I dined here was 2 years ago and I remembered how their chicken was tender, spicy. They also had sauces which would make smoke come out of your ears (figuratively, of course!)So, I ordered 1/4 chicken which was mildly spicy. For only $15, you also get one side dish and a drink. I had potatoes and mushroom. The chicken was just average. It wasn't as flavourful as I thought it would be. The potatoes were nice, but the mushrooms tasted a but burnt.
Overall, an average dining experience.
