It has shifted from its original place at Heeren to Orchard Central just barely a month ago and I eagerly waiting to try it out at its new location. The food types remains unchanged, with different sections available. The dinner buffet probably has more offerings than the lunch. I had the lunch buffet and there is the salad section, japanese cold noodles section, teppanyaki section, pizza/pasta section, sashimi section, sushi section, hotpot section, tempura section, dessert section and drinks!
I love the sashimi cuts of fatty salmon which are fresh and firm to the bite. Other of my favourite stuff are the tempura prawns which are sweet and crunchy. There is even the spicy tempura version, but I stuck with the normal once because the spicy one is more saltish than spicy. Not forgetting the chawanmushi which is also one of my favourites with the silky smooth custard.
The pizza is also worth trying, but be sure to take it when you see the chef dishing it out on the plate, because a warm pizza is definitely more delicious than a cold pizza. The desserts are also quite substantial, though I was hoping there could be more varities because some of the better desserts are not replenished. The tofu cheesecake that I had was delicious and I am glad I took two becuase I don't see it again after that when I went for my second round. With the affordable price tag of $19.90++ for weekday lunch, it is definitely worth a visit.
