Tucked along one of the shophouses along balestier road is a traditional bakery producing really good tau sar piah. For just 60 cents each, you can buy several of this yummy pastry that is almost as big as my palm. You can choose between 2 flavours: sweet and salty, but both versions come with the same flaky crumbly buttery pastry crust filled with nice sticky filling. Highly recommended!
