Was quite surprised that the stall is still open during dinner hours (last time it used to open only in the morning till late afternoon) so I decided to settle my dinner with a bowl of pipping hot lor mee. I used to not like lor mee at all cos there's this weird taste and smell but ever since I first try 178 lor mee years ago, I start to change my view of this dish. The difference between 178 lor mee and other lor mee outside is that their gravy is not as thick. It is smooth and light instead. a
The difference between 178 lor mee and other lor mee outside is that their gravy is not as thick. It is smooth and light instead. a bowl of $3 lor mee comes with a few slices of meat and also their signature fried shark meat. serving wise was big and filling.
For me i love to add a lot of dark vinegar and chili to spice up the this dish.
