Bukit Batok Street 11 has a number of Kopitiams with popular foodstalls that have long queues.One of them is Tiong Bahru Lor Mee. I was not sure was this the same Lor Mee stall as the one at Tiong Bahru Food Centre as they shared the same signboard name. The appearance of the Lor Mee looked quite delicious with very dark brown gravy and colourful items.The starchy gravy tasted good with heavy braised meat stock and vinegar aroma. The appearance of the Lor Mee looked quite delicious with very dark brown gravy and colourful items.
The starchy gravy tasted good with heavy braised meat stock and vinegar aroma.
There were char siew, braised pork, fried meatball and crispy taupok. The fried meatball was their special item, when dipped in the braised gravy, it tasted good.
I was not sure why there was char siew and crispy taupok as they did not really taste well with Lor Mee gravy.
