lotus root soup

I didn't actually want to have a soup plus rice but I was quite tempted by the looks of the soup which I saw on other table near the stall where the customer had ordered their lotus root soup. Hence, I decided to get try the lotus root soup. I queued for around 15minutes before I could get to order. The soup is pretty tasty and sweet tasting. I guess is that they had added some rock sugar to the soup to make it more tasty. The lotus root is cooked until quite soft and has little crunch since it

Hence, I decided to get try the lotus root soup. I queued for around 15minutes before I could get to order. The soup is pretty tasty and sweet tasting. I guess is that they had added some rock sugar to the soup to make it more tasty. The lotus root is cooked until quite soft and has little crunch since it is sliced quite thinly. Overall, I think it is not bad since it is a good choice for people who don't get to eat at home often to have such soups outside instead of eating heaty foods.
