Lunch at Paradise Dynasty was fairly less crowded than dinner time and it's absolutely one of my favourite chinese restaurant to eat at when I'm in town, not to mention its affordable range of chinese cuisine! Tried the multi coloured xiao long bao the previous time I was there and I didn't think there's much to elaborate about. I still prefer the original xiao long bao! Tried the multi coloured xiao long bao the previous time I was there and I didn't think there's much to elaborate about. I still prefer the original xiao long bao!
Ordered 10 dishes for 5 people, xiao long bao, zha jiang mian, guo tie, sweet and sour pork, 2 bowls of soup, kai lan with beef, vegetables, and another 2 plates of dian xin and one bowl of rice! The whole meal came up to about $110! Pu-er tea was free flow.
The baby kai lan with beef was really good. The kai lan was crunchy and easy to bite down.
Zha Jiang Mian was slightly spicy in my opinion and those who can only take mild spicy should probably avoid ordering this. Paradise Dynasty does not take reservations, with the only exception that you come early and get a queue number but that still does not gurantee you a seat immediately if you come back half an hour later. It just gurantees you that they will give you more priority over others.
