Was this the same store as the one in Toa Payoh market? I decided to give it a try. There was after all, a queue. Typical Singaporean behaviour. For $3, this was a substantial bowl of noodles. their mix of chilli sauce was a good flavour burst for the noodles. What I didn't like though, was their use of dark sauce that overwhelmed everything else and if you mixed it through, it'd make for a really unappetizing bowl of noodles.

Their noodles had a springy texture with a lot of bite. And i loved that they had prawns too.
But this wasn't the same as the taste of the stall at toa payoh. I didn't want to ask though, seeing as how long the queue was.

The soup though, was what the noodles were cooked in and that was a bowl of alkali tasting starchy bowl of soup. skip that.

I'll be back to try out their ban mian.
