It took some time before my family and I got a table to have our lunch at Ding Tai Feng that day. Most of the outlets are always filled with people, especially during mealtimes in the weekends. We each ordered a bowl of our own noodles. I ordered their zha jiang mian. And we all shared some xiao long baos. The zha jiang mian was not bad. The noodles were twirled and served very nicely. They were soft as they are usually handmade. The portion of minced pork was enough to eat together with the noodles. The bean sauce was tasty, not too salty too. I felt the skin of the xiao long bao at the tip was a little too thick, but it was still not too bad as the bottom skin was thinner and there were no soup leaks. It was a satisfying lunch that was worth waiting for.
