As we are in the area, we decide to stop here for lunch. The place is not crowded. Wet tissue, Dough Fritter and cutlery are placed on the table as we sit at the table. Bak Kut Teh (small)We are a bit disappointed as the soup is quite light and lacking of herbal taste and body too. For small serving, there is 3 pieces of ribs in it. I also feel that the meat is not tender enough.
Braised Pig's IntestineThe intestine is quite well braised and tender.
GroundnutsAlthough the groundnuts is soft, I feel it is not well braised and lacking of the sauce flavour.
Sweet Potato Leaves The serving is quite huge and both of us could not finish it. The vegetable is quite tasty. Although we have requested it to be spicy, I feel that it is not spicy enough. Just a hint of spicy taste.
Mee Sua PlainInstead of the usual plain rice, we have the meal with silky mee sua. It tastes light and smooth.
Dough FritterThe dough fritter is hard and difficult to soak up the soup.
Total the bill for 2 persons comes up to $37.10 which I feel it is a bit too expensive for a meal in a coffee shop style place. Overall the food tastes average. Food is served quite fast.
